• Improve each players' catching mechanics, understanding of the position, and ability to call a game
• Develop field leadership
  
• Communicate the fielding responsibilities of a catcher

Areas of Instruction:

• Stances while giving signs, with and without runners on base
• Throwing to bases for steals and pick-offs
• Catching pop-ups behind the plate
